Introducing this beautiful statement layered triangle necklace. Created by contemporary jeweller Heather McDermott who grew up in the Isle of Skye and takes inspiration from many elements of her time spent on the Scottish coast including the repetitive geometric shapes found in fishing equipment and lobster pots.
This piece is part of her “Fankle” collection meaning “to entangle”. Layers of stainless steel chain are interspersed with sterling silver links with a chunky chain and catch at the back.
Contemporary jeweller Heather McDermott designs jewellery inspired by the Isle of Skye where she grew up. She uses a mix of the industrial material stainless steel, sterling silver and pearls and adding colour with gold plated, bright industrial paint or oxidised silver to create her pieces.
