This beautiful silver shell ashes pendant has been created by talented jeweller Jessica Collin, founder of Cast & Found. It is being showcased as part of our Encapsulation Exhibition.
“Look for seashells and you will find seashells; but open them and you will find pearls.”
The silver shell pendant was made by casting a clam shell discovered on a British beach, Jessica was drawn to the shell because of its symmetry and texture. The shell pendant is made of two halves where ashes, sand, hair or a secret note can be placed inside and then permanently sealed using a heatless laser. Helping you to feel close to your loved ones.
We understand how precious cremation necklaces are, Jessica is on hand to guide you through the entire process. Please feel free to get in touch to find out more.
Made using sustainably sourced sterling silver and handmade in her Nottinghamshire studio.
The clam shell measures approx 20mm in length and comes with a 16″ chain, longer chain lengths are available.
The shell pendant is available in 9ct yellow gold and as a bangle.
Jessica’s jewellery explores the natural world, allowing wearers of her jewellery to connect to nature, particular place and people. She developed techniques to cast her own foraged items, creating beautiful pieces with all the unique textures found in nature.
To see more of Jessica’s work and the other designers taking part in our Encapsulation Exhibition, we invite you to visit our Clifton Gallery. The exhibition is on until 19th September 2026.
