We are excited to introduce the super talented Edinburgh based jeweller Elise Noel, who is taking part in our Winter Showcase.
This will be the first collection from Elise Noel and we are honoured to be able to debut her work. Her inspiration comes from gothic architecture, the aesthetics of stained glass windows, symbolic images and imaginary worlds.
After drawing her designs she translates these ideas into wax using hand carving techniques. These designs have been cast into silver, the stain glass window effect comes from the carefully curated selection of colourful gemstones.
Elise was born and raised in the countryside of southern France, where she studied product design for six years before accidentally falling into the jewellery world in London. First in retail, then workshop assistant, then as a production manager for six years at a highly regarded jewellers. She has now moved to Edinburgh to work as a jewellery designer, where she can see “a castle perched on a rock everyday”.
We invite you to our gallery to see Elise Noel’s work in person along with designers Jo Pond and Tamara Gomez for this year’s Winter Showcase.
