A stunning pair of garnet gothic window earrings, by talented new, Edinburgh based designer Elise Noel who is taking part in this year’s Winter Showcase.
This is Elise’s first collection, and we are honoured to be able to debut her work. Elise’s inspiration comes from gothic architecture, the aesthetics of stained glass windows, symbolic images and imaginary worlds.
The meticulous detail in this design has been created through wax carving. We love the gentle textures that this method of making achieves. The designs are then lost wax cast into sterling silver and gold plated. The earrings feature a round Mozambique garnet, a gold citrine and pink tourmaline, which have been grain set.
The earring measures 11mm x 23mm and the drop is approx. 30mm
The garnet measures 3mm, the gold citrine and pink tourmaline measure 1.75mm.
We invite you to our gallery to see Elise Noel’s work in person along with designers Jo Pond and Tamara Gomez for this year’s Winter Showcase.
