We love this gothic inspired silver rose window necklace, by talented new Edinburgh based designer. Elise is one of the designers taking part in this year’s Winter Showcase.
This is Elise’s first collection, and we are honoured to be able to debut her work. Her inspiration comes from church architecture, the aesthetics of stained glass, symbolic images and imaginary worlds.
The meticulous detail in this design has been created through wax carving. We love the gothic touches and the stain-glass effect from the gemstones. Each piece is created by hand and then lost wax cast into sterling silver, this means each piece is unique and no two pieces are the same. The necklace features autumnal toned, semi precious gemstones, which have been grain set.
The pendant measures 14x20mm and the belcher chain is Approx. 18″ in length
The stones measure: 2.75mm Mozambique Garnet (x2), 2.75mm Madeira Citrine (x1), 2.75mm Golden Citrine (x2) + 1.75mm Green Sapphire (x1)
