We have all fallen for this one-off bombe blue yellow sapphire ring, which has been designed by Clare Chandler for her new Sunburst collection.
This Sunburst bombe blue yellow sapphire ring, features an ombre of sapphires and diamonds representing the changing colours of the sky. The central stone is a beautiful Australian bi-colour yellow & blue rose cut sapphire, which measures 7x5mm. The sapphire is framed by blue sapphires and white diamond on one side and yellow sapphires and a diamond on the other. This accentuates the ombre look found in the bi colour sapphire itself.
The Sunburst collection
Clare Chandler’s latest collection, Sunburst, draws inspiration from her journeys to some of the world’s most captivating destinations. Moved by the beauty of sunrises and sunsets, Clare captures the essence of time’s passage through radiant designs that evoke warmth, wonder, and the spirit of exploration.
These ideas evolved into a striking amulet collection, drawing inspiration from the rich heritage of ancient talismans discovered across the diverse cultures and eras of Clare’s travels.
Clare plays with the beauty of colours found in natural diamonds and sapphires, recreating sunrises with the ombre of diamonds, from white to yellow to champagne. Sapphires evoke the deep blues of the night sky and intense orange of the changing colours in the sun.
The ring dimensions: 10.5mm wide, tapering to 5mm wide an the bottom. The top of band is 4.8mm deep but has been hollowed out.
