Introducing Anny’s energetic silver barrel wave necklace, this ring has been designed by Anny Ching-Chin Hsieh as part of her new collection Shore.
This stunning silver barrel wave necklace has a dramatic yet intricate wave texture, this has been create using Mitsuro Hikime wax, an ancient traditional Japanese Wax Modelling technique. The nature of the wax allowed Anny to create beautiful unrepeatable textures and patterns. Due to the nature of the wax and technique no two pieces are the same. Meaning you will truly be wearing something that is one of a kind.
This wax is then cast into sterling silver, the ring has been finished matt with polished highlights.
Shore Collection:
Shore is a silver jewellery collection shaped by Anny’s lifelong love of the sea, the shifting tides, and the hidden treasures beneath the horizon. Each piece is handcrafted using the traditional Japanese wax technique mitsuro hikime, which allows for the creation of unique, asymmetrical forms through the stretching, twisting, and folding of wax. This process captures the maker’s movement and emotion, resulting in one-of-a-kind designs that cannot be replicated. The resulting forms echo the whorls of seashell, the soft drift of tidal currents, and the ever-changing textures of the coast. Shore is a reflection of the sea’s quiet poetry—fluid, raw, and deeply personal.
