5 Perfect Pearl Pairings to Complete Your Bridal Look

There’s nothing quite like the understated glamour and elegance of a pearl! As we think about 2023 wedding season, pearls are the perfect accessory for your special day. Not only are they said to attract good fortune, but their organic nature brings a softness and whimsicality to your own wedding style. From pearl necklaces to pearl earrings, these glistening wonders can really elevate any bridal look.

No one understands this quite like our lovely neighbours The Mews. Originating in Clifton Village, before expanding to a second boutique in Notting Hill, The Mews work exclusively with French designers to create gorgeously timeless wedding dresses. In collaboration with these bridal couture experts, we’ve been looking at some of the best pearl pieces to pair with their stunning designs.

The Mews said: ‘Elegant and timeless, pearls are a the perfect accessory to have on your wedding day. Pearls symbolise wisdom and are said to attract good luck which is rather romantic to know on your wedding morning as you dress and prepare to marry the love of your life. The organic nature of pearls bring a softness and whimsicality to any bridal look and we love how they compliment the freedom and style that radiates from our dresses at The Mews.’

‘All of our dresses are created by French designers and we feel very lucky that they are exclusive to us in the UK, bringing a element of individuality to the most memorable outfit you’ll ever wear. The dresses are modern enough to feel like you, traditional enough to never date.’

This unique and amorphous baroque pearl necklace from in-house jeweller Chloe Solomon is a shape-shifting delight! It perfectly complements the sleek and elegant Schubert dress by Laure de Sagazan.

A charming pearl trio with natural flair, these silver fan leaf style pearl studs and necklace have been designed by in-house jeweller Samantha England. This fabulous set works effortlessly with the retro classic Pitt by Laure de Sagazan. (Part of the new 2023 collection).

Delicate and dynamic, in-house jeweller Anny Ching Chin has designed these exquisite silver and pearl hoops. This perfect pair matches well with the eye-catching lace textures of the Sorel dress by Margaux Tardits.

This majestic set, designed by Clifton Rocks founder Clare Chandler, features a subtle dome necklace and earrings that are each completed with a stunning pearl drop. Pair with the ethereal Moss dress by Caroline Takvorian for a truly radiant look.

A true showstopper! This final design from Clifton Rocks founder Clare Chandler takes the elegant dome and pearl drop pairing and adds a twinkling diamond. This standout necklace and earring set blends perfectly with the free-spirited Lou dress by Caroline Takvorian.
